and he's right

assuming deebo will be out another week or two, BA will be taken away or still not be in form, JJ will continue to have big games. or big game potential

i wonder if now the coverages roll to JJ, he's a tough one on one matchup with his size and physicality. contested catch artist.

We've all seen what he can do. He earned the moniker "Third and Juan" a long time ago. Why did we waste picks on Pearsall and Cowing again? It's going to be a crowded receiver room when everyone's back.

Pearsall just made no sense. I hate what happened to him and all the tragedy and what he's been through. But another WR? Above OT, DT, CB, S? No way that made sense for this team. Based on our needs. I hate that they keep picking WR's in an already crowded WR room. Completely ignoring more pressing needs.
Enough already. Make this guy a starter. Once Kittle and McCaffrey comes back use Aiyuk or Deebo in a trade for a Right Tackle or Center.

I still feel like they wasted a first round pick to negotiate with a player that they eventually have in to.

This team doesn't really value first round picks

When we drafted him in the 7th round he was leading ALL wr's in college in broken tackles. I've been saying he is a very good wr since day 1. Even after we cut him At least we have an awesome wr core

It was just wasted in so many ways. Not a need. Crowded WR room. Cowing has shown more so far. I know that's unfair and we don't know what we have in Pearsall. Shoulder, hamstrings and very tragically shot. I feel really bad for the guy. So nothing at all against Pearsall. I hope he heals up and has a great life.

Just the needs for this team in late 1st were not WR. We got Aiyuk back. Deebo (when healthy which is rare), Jauan Jennings and Cowing (who knew he was that good?). Just what are we going to do with him anyway when he's healthy? Play 2 snaps? We could have had OT, C, DT, CB, S. We have big needs there. I hate that they keep ignoring it to pick more WR's. We also got Kittle who is WR like at TE and CMC who can play all over. We just didn't need more weapons. But we need the others I mentioned.
Jennings 3rd in the league in receiving yards. Who would have predicted that after 3 weeks.

I think he looks more like a stud starter than a backup. He's the kind of guy who gets buried on your depth chart for timed speed. But if you just watch the way he plays he looks like Anquan Boldin out there. I think there is a lot more there than even the 49ers realize.

Aiyuk to steelers for Frazier? lol
If Cowing and Pearsall develop they could trade both Aiyuk and Deebo. One of them is probably gone anyway next year. It's clear the offense won't drop off that much. If they could get a high pick or a legit starting O lineman then I would mind seeing them get traded.

At this point it's way harder to replace the best player in the league with the ball in his hands. Keep Deebo. BA is a top 10-12 wr and easier to replace (if you can't keep both)

I could see him getting 1,000 + and 10 TD's if you played him all the time. He's that good and physical. Hands are outstanding. Routes are great. He just muscles the ball away from people. The only thing he doesn't have is fast straight line speed. So much dog in him though. He's tough and effective the way he does it.

It only made sense if the plan was to move on from Aiyuk or Deebo either this offseason or next and if that was the plan something certainly changed.
