That's what I feared before this game when they said that Deebo was back. I thought that JJ was probably going to be WR3 again. He's the best WR on the team right now but I guess that Shanahan has big egos to handle in the locker room.
Less Deebo gimmick plays and more touches for the Jennings and the RB and FB

Love his attitude and the fire he plays with. He's been like that since day 1 here. These are the type of players you win championships with. Luckily we have a few players like this on our team (Brock, Kittle, Warner)

His post game interview was great' It was what you like to hear from players. Honest answers. Humor.Smiles. Excitement. What's not to like.

Was worried with Deebo being back that it would cut into his reps. Didn't look to be the case. Jennings shouldn't be coming off the field at this point or rarely at least.
He didn't rack up another 175 but he did make two of the most incredible contested catches we've seen all yr. And he dang made a 3rd one. Both balls were up for grabs and defender actually had better position in both, yet Jauan snagged them both. And the third one was really close. To have a receiver like that , he just has WR 1 or 2 written all over him. Probably 1 on a team with 2 maybe 3 WR 1s. Incredible that he gets reviews like this but Jauan is the real deal. Both those contested balls, nobody expected him to catch either one and he caught both.

That is the mark of a spectacular WR and deserving of WR 1 consideration. Deebo, Aiyuk, and McCaf are all bona fide WR 1 grades, but you gotta include Jauan, if he keeps this up. Outstanding, just outstanding and he DOES run routes and blocks when not the #1 target.

Truth...his attitude is amazing....

Go back the start of this thread, and you will find me complaining about his personality and his red flags.....yet another case of me being dead wrong on a dude.... (was not wrong on how talented he appeared, just his mentality)
CARL PICKENS all over again !! wowwww !!

hand him the team's MVP already... just.. just .. just give it to him !!
If the 2024 season has brought clarity to anything about the 49ers' WR group, it's that this dude is a stud. They missed him bad out there today.
With all the injuries this is where they finally find out they have Anquan Boldin on the roster. They never realized it before. But a mostly full season of him starting will show you that. He can do everything at the highest level but the 40 time. That's if Shany is not so stupid he turns to Ronnie Bell. I definitely wouldn't put it past him either.

Well.. Jennings has a chance to prove he can be a long-term starter out wide, and now, we're forced to play the rookies.

Deebo and Jennings can be the bullies

Cowing and Pearsall can be the quick separators

Conley can be the special teamer and rotational depth

And Bell can
