I look at this player like all 49ers pick - multi positional. He is big but slow. His frame will allow him to pick up 10 pounds.

He maybe used as a receiving tight end.

Before you laugh, remember Shannon Sharp, 7th round, 4.67 40. 6-2 (actually just a shade under ) 228 lbs. Who did he play and thrive under? Yep the Shanahans.

All kidding aside, Pettis is going to feel so out of place at training camp. Even Trent Taylor has that dog in him. Kyle is clearly building this offense to have a certain attitude both on and off the field.

If Jennings shows enough potential that makes the coaches want to not risk losing him on the PS, I don't see how Pettis makes this team over him, unless he changes things up big time.

Not saying he is Anquan Boldin, but plays like him. Big, physical WR that beats the DB for the ball.

The thing about Jennings is his strength with the ball. There are countless highlights of him being tackled by 3 players and he just keeps going.

I remember Pettis short arming a Garappolo pass in the 3rd Qtr in the first 2019 Seadderall Game. I don't think this guy can be bullied by the Seadderall CB's the way Pettis was in that game.

So I do have one big concern. If Jalen Hurd is healthy, how many teammates are they going to fight...and will they fight each other the first time they meet?

When even the last pick in the draft makes me read 100 posts, it's been a good one.

But I had to read up, and see the clips on this tough kid. Straight up dog. Below average speed, above averages Suh-ness.

Love that ShanaLynch wants to build the team with this type of scrappers, who loves to fight for every inch & every ball, blocks with passion and never takes a play off!!

Prolly gonna go back and listen.. to JJ taking out the guy at the sideline again.. wham!!
