Ah, gotcha. Thanks. That 53 looks very realistic to me BTW.

11. CB 49 DeMarkus Acy
12. SS 36 Marcell Harris

I tried to find room for Tom Compton, but with my 53, I don't see 10 OL being a thing, not when we have injuries on the DL, so Darrion Daniels gets the nod over Compton as DJ Jones's backup.

5 inactives would be RB Wilson, OL Skule, DT Street, CB Harris, the 5th would be between a WR or a DL.

Nice Job! Do you think Richburg starts the season on time? I agree on Compton.

I hope Finke gets the nod over Taylor.

Thanks, I think so, all reports were he's doing well, it's guys like Blair, Taylor(both) and Hurd I'm worried about, two with ACL tears, 1 with back, another foot, wonder how many guys start on PUP, I'm sure Richburg will starts on Active/PUP for Preseason, and then activated soon after, same for Jet. Hopefully they don't activate Blair, Taylor or Hurd if on PUP so they 1. only miss 6 games, and 2. we don't have to waste a spot on the 53 so they go on IR to return.

I think either way 2020 is Trent Taylor's last year as a 49er, we have better options in the future like Jennings, and Hurd, plus draft wise we can get a better Slot WR, I think Bourne starts at the Slot in 2020, with Deebo and Aiyuk as the outside WRs. Hopefully we have more than 3 contribute in 2020 like 2019.

Hurd seems to be over his issues.
I did a workbook to see what the cap room would be with my roster, we'd have about $10M after my cuts, before knowing Staley's injury settlement, Williams's redone contract, and practice squad salaries.

As for 2021, this is what we'd be looking at, based on a few different cap scenarios.

Cap Limit: $215,000,000 $225,000,000 $230,000,000 $240,000,000
Cap Room: $60,946,932 $70,166,932 $75,166,932 $85,166,932

I'd be worried about Hurd's career if he is unable to start the season.

AB, 2021 is going to be horrendous - half the team are FA's.

He's been cleared - why would he be unable to start the season?

I'd rather be safe than sorry due to the back injury, could linger on if not 110% healthy.

AB, 2021 is going to be horrendous - half the team are FA's.

Not really, 34 signed for 2020 in my roster. Plus only a few starter FAs.

All FAs after 2020:

QB Nick Mullens - RFA Likely gets 1st or 2nd rd tender
QB CJ Beathard - UFA Likely gone, or back on cheap deal, hopefully traded this offseason after cuts
RB Tevin Coleman - UFA Likely replaced with a UDFA or another vet
RB Jerick McKinnon - UFA Could be brought back cheap IMO
RB Jeff Wilson Jr. - RFA Likely not tendered unless the team wants to get a pick for him so 2nd rd tender and trade ala Breida
FB Kyle Juszyzsck - UFA Not going anywhere, Kyle won't allow him to leave, still young, best FB in the NFL
WR Kendrick Bourne - UFA Should extend now IMO
WR Trent Taylor - UFA Don't see him back unless cheap
WR Travis Benjamin - UFA May not make the 53, saves $1.045M
TE George Kittle - UFA Not going anywhere
TE Ross Dwelley - RFA Likely not tendered, but signed to 1yr minimum deal
TE Daniel Helm - ERFA If he makes it he won't be going anywhere, only costs $865K to retain
C Ben Garland - UFA Easy re-signing, knows KS's system, did well in 2019
C Jake Brendel - RFA Doubt he makes the 53
OG Daniel Brunskill - ERFA Not going anywhere, will only cost $865K to tender
OG Tom Compton - UFA May not make the 2020 team, has $750K GTD, saves $1.95M if cut
OT Trent Williams - UFA Not going anywhere, will be tagged if need be
OT Shon Coleman - UFA Easy re-signing as swing Tackle
OT Leonard Wester - RFA Doubt he makes the 53
DE Ronald Blair III - UFA Easy re-signing as EDGE rusher IMO
DE Kerry Hyder Jr. - UFA Another easy re-signing as a 1yr deal
DT Solomon Thomas - UFA Gone IMO unless he has a breakout year, Kinlaw is the man at 3T
DT Willie Henry Jr. - RFA Likely not on the 53
NT D.J. Jones - UFA Should be back, not like he's gonna cost $10M A yr, he's a NT playing less than 30% snaps despite new agent
WLB Joe Walker - UFA Another easy 1yr re-signing
CB Richard Sherman - UFA Not going anywhere, the 49ers won't let Sherman leave
CB K'Waun Williams - UFA Should be paid a good amount as one of the best Slot CBs, hopefully they bring him back
CB Emmanuel Moseley - ERFA Not going anywhere, will only cost $865K to tender
CB Ahkello Witherspoon - UFA Likely replaced with a vet or draft pick
CB Teez Tabor - RFA Doubt he even makes the 53
CB Dontae Johnson - UFA Likely not on the 53
CB Jason Verrett - UFA Likely not on the 53 unless he has a breakout camp/Preseason
FS Derrick Kindred - RFA Doubt he makes the 53
SS Jaquiski Tartt - UFA Could lose via FA if he wants more than what Ward got, but I think the 49ers bring him back if he has a good year, him and Ward are a good Safety tandem
SS Marcell Harris - RFA May not make the 53, wouldn't be tendered high if he makes it, would be original round tender

So most of these FAs are guys who likely won't make the 53, or just won't be back, while the only starters unsigned for 2021 are FB Juice, SWR Bourne, TE Kittle, LT Williams, RG Brunskill(ERFA), NT Jones, CB Sherman, CB Moseley(ERFA), SCB Williams, SS Tartt, you could add in RB Coleman as he will be the other back with Mostert. So 10/11 starters, 2 are ERFAs, we can tag Trent, Kittle won't be gone, neither will be Juice. So I don't see an issue.

Exactly. And it's not just about cap space but how many players you already have locked up. So our $80M is like the equivalent of $160M because we already have our FQB and every starter locked up minus a couple key ones for 2021 (Kittle/Williams). In short, we're in tremendous cap health and have a lot of flexibility with big contracts like Kwon and Ford.
