Aiyuk, like Deebo, will not dominate right away since this offense is hard to pick up. I can see him dominating in the later half of the year.
Colton, good OL depth. Hopefully another gem in the making.
Charlie Woerner. This is the pick I am least excited about. I hope he does give us more in the passing game
Jauan Jennings. Love his attitude and physicality. Want him to make the roster badly. But I can see Pettis making the roster over him . This move was probably made just in case Hurd is put on IR again, unfortunately. I see his roster making chances as slim
Overall: B+
Restocked the roster with the same talent at a cheaper cost, giving us another shot at a Superbowl. But ultimately, I didn't think we improved in areas where we were deficient that can get us over the hump. Though I understand if the refs were less biased in the SB, we may have had a chance to win, you probably can't count on that
Kinlaw isn't a technician but he's also much more physically talented than Armstead was when he was coming out imo.
Bigger, stronger and more athletic. I wish we had the combine numbers for Kinlaw to have proper analysis but Kinlaw looks a lot more explosive than Armstead was at this stage in his career and has done it at a bigger weight with longer arms.
Another big factor...Armstead came in and played on a pretty weak roster. Kinlaw is going to be the 4th guy on an already super strong unit and a scheme that basically asks their guys to hunt QBs.
Basically I think even with the craziness and uncertainty of this offseason he's in a prime position to play well quickly.
Of course with Chase Young in the draft class...I'd be surprised if anyone else gets DROY.
