And this is the 100% smart way to approach things. Yet, we'll still have a bunch of ignorant people out here saying "DONT TREAD ON ME BRO! IT'S MY RIGHTS! RE-OPEN AMERICA!!!!!"
Weeks 7-10 are going to be tough. Especially a Thursday night game right after a game in Seattle on Sunday.

They have the cowboys play the redskins on thanksgiving. The nfl got it wrong again.

Jerruh would never allow a national TV audience on a holiday to see his stadium invaded in red again like in 2014, lmfao....

Just saw your edit. But he's reiterating what he said about no full stadiums, or at least that is how I'm reading it. From sacbee link

Newsom offered a regretful response during his daily news conference Thursday when asked if the games will go on as the state eases COVID-19 restrictions in the months ahead. Newsom said he doesn't envision large-scale, live-audience sporting events until a vaccine is available, and that is unlikely to happen for a minimum of 12 to 18 months, according to medical experts.

"It's difficult to imagine a stadium that's filled until we have immunity, until we have a vaccine," Newsom said.

The key phrase there is "live audience." With all the TV money involved, I think the NFL would be willing to do what the Bundesliga is doing and playing without fans wherever needed.

Nah not with joe blow at QB. That offense was on life support last yr

Belichick got what, 10 wins out of Matt Cassel? I wouldn't underestimate him, even if Stidham is at QB.

Yup. At this point I'll take football/sports in general with no fans. Should get our first taste this sat with UFC 249

13-3 with losses at Seattle, NO and AZ. #1 seed and we taking no f**king names all the way to Tampa to finish off the revenge tour

I think we win at all 3 places again. Team seems more focused on the road, and we had a better road record than home last year anyway ;)
Packers got mercced. They get to play Minnesota and then travel to Levi's four days later.

With how quiet Levi's is at times, no fans shouldn't really be an issue for niner home games lol

Which is why we're such a great road team. Levi's is only loud when it's a playoff game or an important game against a division rival :/

Technically he didn't ban anything with an actual order, yet. He also addressed fan-attended events, not televised no=fan attendance ones.

He's also about to get sued into oblivion over the next six months.
