2020 Schedule

Keep the schedule leaks coming! I want to know the entire Niners 2020 schedule before it's officially revealed tomorrow.

So far, the leaks say this:

Week 1: Dolphins (Home on MNF)
Week 2: @ Patriots
Week 3: Bills (Home on SNF)

(three in a row vs. the AFC East?)

Thanksgiving Day: @ Cowboys

Pretty sure that starts next year. The extra playoff team begins this year though.

From what I've read they are gonna play all out of conference games for all teams in weeks 1-4. So that would mean the schedule you mentioned and then @ the Jets week 4. That's a lot of back and forth travel the first 4 weeks....

Expected format for 2020 schedule:

Week 1-4: Out-of-Conference games
Week 5-6: Equal-place Conference games
Week 7-10: Divisional games/Bye weeks
Week 11-14: Inter-conference games
Week 15-17: Divisional games

Thanks, and yes, if it plays out this way it's definitely a lot of cross-country traveling at the beginning of the season!

Makes sense, though. If they have to shorten the season then all the teams simply drop the out of conference games and play a 12-game schedule. This would guarantee each conference plays a 12-game schedule with the same W-L record within the group of teams within each conference (instead of the imbalance of W-L that occur each year in a regular schedule).

I've seen two different so called "leaks". One against Miami week 1 and the other against Giants week 1.

Even with this uncertain and funky year....I'd be shocked if the league dealt the fan forsaken 10 pm kickoff to the defending NFC champions. Against an east coast team, at that.
