Niners will open up the season for the second Monday night game doubleheader ...
Niners go to New England week 2.

Imagine that. Play late on a Monday night and then travel all the way across the country to play at New England on a short week. Typical NFL . Anything to f**k the Niners and help the Patriots.
I just read a rumor that we open week 1 vs the lakers @ sacramento
If I had to guess if the Week 1 Dolphins game and the schedule structure are both true:

Week 1: Dolphins (MNF)
Week 2: Bills 1pm
Week 3: @ Pats 10am
Week 4: @ Jets 10am
Week 5: Packers 1pm
Week 6: @ Saints (SNF)
Week 7: Rams 1pm
Week 8: Cards (MNF)
Week 9: @ Seahawks 1pm
Week 10: BYE
Week 11: Redskins 1pm
Week 12: @ Cowboys (Thurs - Thanksgiving)
Week 13: @ Giants 10am
Week 14: Eagles 1pm
Week 15: @ Cards 1pm
Week 16: Seahawks (SNF)
Week 17: @ Rams 1pm

I think the BYEs might not even start until Week 6 for the whole league in case they are dropping Weeks 1-4, or a portion of them.

I'm probably wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy off but this is fun
If the rumors of AFC games happening first 4 weeks of the season then i like it.

Would love to get the road trip to the east coast out of the way early.

Pats and Jets...better to go there before it gets cold or before they could deal with all the changes. Pats D USUALLY ends up playing better as they go on. They lost a bunch of key players not even looking at Brady. If rookies are gonna start slow Pats and Dolphins would be good teams to play early on.

We'll see what happens. The more teams we play early on who will have young/inexperienced QBs or players the better for us.

Playing Dallas on Thanksgiving would be a no from me. Going on the road on a short week vs a team with a powerhouse offense puts us at a serious disadvantage. I'd rather not do that vs an NFC team on the road.

Then again when has the NFL been favorable to us in regards to the schedule?

They better not give us an early bye week again either. That was brutal and our team was dog tired later in the year because of it.
I want the cowboys week 1 on Sunday night

It's okay, they don't have TB12 and Drunkowski anymore.
All these schedules are totally subject to change since the season may not even start on time and as much as a month behind schedule, or more.

This !

Agree.

Somehow that is a little hard to imagine, but a couple weeks ago, when Mark Cuban was being interviewed on TV as one of the president's advisors on how to reopen sporting events with huge crowds, he said it already has been discussed and decided that professional games would be played before empty coliseums, stadiums or forums.

Then on a Fresno sports talk radio show wiht Will Cain, they interviewed another gent who was advising the president on collegiate sports /stadiums. He said the consensus was that if kids could NOT go back to school (college) and had to take classes on TV or online , that it was unlikely the college football, basket ball games would be played.

They are opening up too prematurely. New cases will spike exponentially and restrictions are put back in place. Next time more strict and the season goes away. Should have been locked down for longer for the virus to almost die away. You cant have everything all at once unfortunately.

I have to agree - they're coming back too soon.
Expected format for 2020 schedule:

Week 1-4: Out-of-Conference games
Week 5-6: Equal-place Conference games
Week 7-10: Divisional games/Bye weeks
Week 11-14: Inter-conference games
Week 15-17: Divisional games
Hoping the NY game is later into the yr so I might have a chance to see it

Same here. Would be nice if jets, giants and pats games were back to back to back so less traveling. I know, pipe dream.

Maybe stay in OH for 3 weeks for the Pat's, Jets & Packers?
LEGO!!!!
So it looks like two mega teams will face the cowboys at home this season: SAn Francisco and Pittsburgh. If the NFL were smart, they would have either team play the cowboys on Thanksgiving. It will be interesting to see which opposing fanbase will have a bigger showing at ATT Stadium.
