2020 Win Loss Predictions

Week 1 vs Cardinals at home - Win.
Even Cards beat writers expect them to lose this one. Nice draft and nice WR pickup in Hopkins but no time to integrate them into the play book completely and lack of reps with QB due to no or reduced training camps and OTA. For us, we already have most starters returning, and new FAs like Travis Benjamin know KS's system. Murray gives us fits again, but is surprised at how fast Kinlaw is. Kinlaw introduces himself to Murray on the Levi turf and gets first sack of his career.

Week 2 at Jets - Win.
Jets are not even close, and have another rebuild in front of them. Like Sam Darnold, but he is not going be enough. Even with an improved OLine in front of him, and the guy we would have gotten, Becton, protecting his blind side. Gore says hi to us, but rushes for less then 75 yards, as part of his plan to take it easy on us so as to retire as a 49er. Lynch agrees to retire Gore's jersey as a 49ers, if he fumbles in the Red Zone................twice.

Week 3 at Giants - Win
Giants are in an even worse rebuild mode then the Jets. We run the ball down their throats and avoid their secondary like the Plague. Once again, we are Staying in Youngstown after the Jets game, so short travel for us and remaining in the same time zone. Remax agents swamp team hotel trying to sell second homes in Youngstown area to Niner players.

Week 4 vs Eagles at home - Win
Question marks about Eagles offense, decent defense though. Could be a low scoring game. But we will win this, in a tight one. Eagles play 3 soft teams in preceding weeks and actually think they have a decent team. We bring the soaring Eagles down to earth.

Week 5 vs Dolphins at home - Win
Flores isn't Kyle Shanahan and Tua is still a rookie QB. Not going to be close. We will win by 2 scores or more. Kinlaw and Bosa introduce themselves to Tua multiple times. Tua feels a little pain in his hips.

Week 6 vs Rams at home -Win
49er faithful make Levi Stadium a hard place to play for division opponents. Lambs lose too much top talent and have not come even close to replacing them. I see Goff running for his life again, maybe enough mileage to run back to Berkley. A bruised and battered and well sacked Goff looks longingly out the window of his plane at the Cal campus as he departs the Bay Area.

Week 7 at New England - Win
We go on the road to New England. Normally a risky proposition, but no more Tom Brady. His replacement might be good, but not this season. We win comfortably. Belichik tries to talk Jimmy into coming back during the post game handshakes on the field. Kyle and John chaperones Jimmy out to the middle of the field for the post game handshakes.

Week 8 at Seahawks - Loss
We travel to Seattle after traveling 2 time zones to New England. Some injuries to key players at this point. Centurylink always a tough place and Seachickens and Pete Caroll always get up for us. Russell Wilson again in contention for League MVP at this stage of the season. Kinlaw gets his 5th sack of the season here. KS unveils his secret, which is to convert the fastest guy on the team, Marquise Goodwin into a spy on Russell. |Russell can't run away from him, but we still lose. Close game, but no dice.

Week 9 vs Packers a home - Win
Rodgers has yet another bad deja vu moment playing us. Once again, we run the ball down their throats like we did last season and like we did all the way back to Jim Harbaugh. Packers say what the hell, you can't beat destiny, and book their Alcatraz tours before the game. Rodgers looks longingly out the window of his plane at the Cal campus as he departs the Bay Area.

Week 10 at Saints - Loss
Brees has a final chance at the Superbowl. Ruiz protects his ass better then anyone could last year. Yet another shoot out. Ex Niner Sanders goes nuts on us for over 120 yards and 2 scores. Saints win, but we terrorize the heck out of Brees.

Week 11 - Bye

Week 12 at LA Rams - Win
We win again, and by this stage of the season, the Lambs are established in the NFC West division cellar. Lambs can't wait for the season to end and start a rebuild for the next season. We hope Sean does not trade away Goff. We like him, he lets us win. Team checks out Disneyland as a preview for after Superbowl win.

Week 13 vs Buffalo Bills at home - Win
Monday Night Game, we have an extra day to prepare but Buffalo will probably stay in the State of California, having played the week before at the Chargers. Buffalo will have a winning record coming into this game and it will be close, I am thinking defensive battle. We win, but a close one.Buffalo beat writers expect us to win too.

Week 14 vs Washington Redskins at home- Win
Maybe the easiest game of the season. Ron will make sure the Redskins are not the dumpster fire they were in prior seasons. But its not going to be close. John Lynch thanks the Redskins for the Williams trade and then sticks it to them on the scoreboard.

Week 15 at Dallas Cowgirls - Win
We beat McCarthy at Green Bay and we will beat him again in Dallas. Dallas is over rated and we expose them. It will be a satisfying win as the defeat drops the Cowgirls out of play off contention.

Week 16 at Arizona Cardinals - Win
Don't like Kliff Kingsbury and most teams have figured him out by now. Not going to win against our defense. .We squash Arizona's play off hopes with this win, and they join the Cowgirls crying into their beer.

Week 17 vs Seahawks at home - Loss
We clinch the division title by now, have a first round bye by now and rest our starters. Mullens look good in place of JG. We lose, but who cares. We go into the playoffs as healthy as we can be.

Overall record - 13 -3
Superbowl Baby!!

12-4 and another division win. We finish with the same record as the Saints but get the #1 seed because we beat them in the head to head matchup. The NFC west is so tough that I don't see any team reaching 13 wins.

My division predictions.

1.Niners 12-4
2.Seahawks 10-6
3.Rams 9-7
4.Cards 9-7

3 of the Niners 4 losses comes to divisional opponents. Niners split with all three divisional opponents. Their other loss to the Cowboys or Eagles.

Seeding.

1.Niners 12-4 -bye

2.Saints 12-4
3.Cowboys 10-6
4.Packers 9-7(wins tie breaker vs Vikings)
5.Bucs 10-6
6.Seahawks 10-6
7.Rams(wins tie breaker vs the Viking,Cards and Eagles)

3 teams from the NFC west makes the playoffs with the Cards barely missing it.

Saints vs Rams=Saints win
Cowboys vs Seahawks= Seahawks win
Packers vs Bucs= Bucs win

Niners vs Seahawks=Niners
Saints vs Bucs=Bucs

Niners vs Bucs=Niners
11-5, should be good to win division. Will win a road playoff game in Dallas, win at home then take the Super Bowl

We need the #1 seed so we get the bye week in POs.
Please don't risk our team to the ronavirus with a NYC layover on back to back Jets Giants games.
This is the year they're doing only the 1st seed gets the bye?
Got us going 13-3 with losses at Seattle, NO and AZ

I can see us dropping one to the Cards, both to the Hawks, Saints, Eagles in a surprise slugfest.

11-5

If we're real unlucky we can drop one to the Rams, barely escaped with one of those.

I see us opening the season 9-0

Finishing 13-3 or 14-2 most likely
13-3 or 14-2 the only games that will be tough will be the Seahawks games and the Saints games which will be toss up, we could win all of them too but I was conservative and gave us the record up top.
12-4 is my prediction.

I don't really believe in predicting games individually this far out. Collectively, I see our schedule, I see only two 10 AM starts against teams in the same city we have a good chance against, I see a schedule that gradually gets more difficult and peaks right before our reasonably-placed bye week @ NO, I see our bye week is in a good place and I think 12-4. That's it.

9-7 or 10-6 tops

The team got worse with loosing proven players like buckner and sanders. Also we were lucky last year with injuries and usually doesn't happen to often.

Ford, Kittle, both tackles, Kwon, Tartt.

None were season ending also add in our secondary is crap and sherman's old ass is going to be even slower.

This dude is truth. I hate trading Buckner and Sanders. I think Buckner underachieved in this defense but he does have value. Letting Sanders go is flat out stupid IMO. They kept Ward's fragile ass over Sanders. SMH. John Lynch still has a lot to prove IMO. And his draft sucked.
We're ranked as the second best team or at least tied with the Saints as the second best team this coming 2020 season( it is on the record I just forgot whether it's PFF or ESPN or something else. I also think the Niners is hungrier this year than last year. With this being said, I am confident with predicting a 14-2 record this year, I really think they're going to be dominant. However, I want a win against the Cowboys and a sweep of the Seahawks as part of my wishlist because beating these two teams gives out the best feeling......it's almost like euphoric you know.
