I mean we all know he had a torn bicep...that s**t wasn't close to 100% by the time of the Super Bowl. He's always been a poor tackler though. Go ask any Tampa Bay fan. Dude is great in coverage, that's why SF paid him. IMO Dre is almost as good in coverage and is a much better tackler, if he can show it again this yr Kwon is gone (or going to have to take a massive pay cut).

Right now we have a bad ass LBer corp so it's a good problem to have.
He had a torn pectoral muscle which he came back early from then he tore a bicep during the practice leading up to the Super bowl.

Ahhh I see. I didn't even know about the bicep, good lord that dude can't stay healthy
I love both but kwon gets hurt too much. He's a more talented version of Jimmy Ward.

I think it was the pec we knew about, but the bicep part didn't come out until after the SB, right?
Yep I feel the coaching staff made two bad players decision with Kwon and Person. Might have been a different outcome.

Yeah both were clearly not healthy,. The Person one was rough since Brunskill played some well all year, even though I get why they did it.

Injuries. I hate them.

Hmmm idk, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ward is a better FS than Alexander is a WILL LB when both are healthy
Kwon is getting over $16 Million for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Not sure about 2020 but for the next 2 seasons after that I am taking Dre

No he's not. Ward is hugely overrated here for a guy who's career has been marred with injury and blowing big plays.

Kwon has been injuries too...

Ward is far better. Less splash plays but also way less missed tackles.

Ward has played extremely consistent when he's been healthy.

Could have been a result of the torn pec.

Often times your body tries to over compensate due to an injury and you end up tearing something else if the original wasn't fully healed.

We lost 5 games last year. 3 can be blamed on J.Ward Mistakes.
Greenlaw steps in next to Warner next year, Kwon is cut or traded, love Kwon but injuries and price tag complicate things.

Did I miss a loss somewhere? I know the SB was heartbreaking but it shouldn't count as two losses.
As of right now from everything I've heard Kwon has been getting 100% of the first team reps in the nickel

At the 1:00 mark, Kyle addresses this and flat out says it is not an open competition and that Kwon is the starter at WILL. I think Dre may have something to say about that, but at the moment, it's Kwon's spot to lose.

They both played well (when healthy) but in my opinion Dre played better when both were at their best. Dre has the potential to be one of the best in the league right along with Warner.

I hope its the leadership factor and NOT the $ factor.
