Aberdeen's a fine enough city, but not much to do for tourists. Its best feature is its proximity to the Cairngorms. And its football (soccer) team of course. If your coming over, I'd recommend a couple of days in Edinburgh, and a couple in Glasgow. Then spend the rest of your time going as far west, and as far north as you can. If you hire a car you should head to the Bealach na Bà. Great fun.
What's the story with Aaron Rodgers?
Also, I can't believe I used two semi-colons in one sentence last night. Whisky is a hell of a drug!
At meeting in Edinburgh back in the early 90s , had a Tee time at St. Andrews but got food poisoning the nite before. Later ended up playing Straithenpfeffer (sp?) a few days later on its 100th anniversary. Relatively short course, small greens, but was alive with fall colors. Wife and i really enjoyed the beautiful walk and didn't let golf ruin it. Ever heard of it? Or by chance played it? On a couple tee boxes , very elevated, you look out and all you can see is reds, yellows, oranges and all colors in between. We played a few others too, but nothing before or since has been as beautiful as Strathenpfeffer and its surroundings. Not more than a couple 2 somes were on the course that day.
New England's fall colors are beautiful, but nothing like that day at Stratihenpfeffer.
