I don't miss harbaugh and his idiotic Schembechler dunderhead offense one bit.
Kyle Shanahan is a huge reason why I love the current group. The 2011-2013 teams felt like the niners trying to be the 85 bears. The current group feels like the spiritual successor to our glory days.

AGree. When Harbaugh tried to install the WCO with Pep Hamilton - it seemed to be the same old same old at U of M. Next they tried some form of Air Raid, and pretty much same old same old. I loved the fact that he got us to three NFC Championship games and a super bowl, but I've kind of soured on his chops as a offensive wizard and QB whisperer. You are spot on with regards to the '85 bears. I really think that's the kind of team he was trying to create. I think David Shaw was the real offensive wizard behind the scenes when Harbaugh jumped from Stanford to the 49ers.

Doesn't hurt that Harbs had Andy Luck at Stanford either lol.

Given Harbaugh's ongoing QB problems, it is clear he was never the QB whisperer some thought. His brother is 5x the coach Jim is.

True. Except for the flops in the postseason, John is the clearly superior coach. Two years running now Lamar has fell flat on his face in the postseason.
