Hasty or Ahmed

Some how Lynch and Shanny keep finding these diamonds in the dirt when it comes to UDFAs, especially at the RB position. I personally hope both of them make the final 53 but I know the chances of that happening are slim. The most likely scenario is that one makes the team and the other is signed to the practice squad. I know once practice starts some opinions are going to change, but right now who do you think has a better chance of making the team.

I like Hasty, he's got a little Freeman to him. Love his jump cuts and looks like he's got some pass-catching upside.

He's also a better athlete going off their spider graphs.

I like Hasty too. Hopefully he's better than our last Jamichael though.

You're right. I don't know how I've never made the Freeman comparison!

Ahmed reminds me of Mostert with less breakaway speed. His vision, like Mostert, is tailor made for the outside zone blocking scheme.

Hasty reminds me of Dujuan Harris.

I like the Mostert comp too for Ahmed. He's patient and smooth like Raheem.
Tough call as runners on both. Ahmed seems to have more wiggle. Hasty has a good quick straight upfield type. And he's more versatile playing ST

I think Hasty has a better chance at making the team if there's any room left on the roster.

I think you're talking about LaMichael James not JaMichael.
I think Hasty is gonna be on the roster or on the PS but he´ll be in the organization somehow.

Pros:
-Very good route-running.
-Good hands.
-Good acceleration.
-Not great speed but after he catches the ball he can get big chunk of yards with his elusiveness.

Cons:
-He had several fumbles his last 2 years.
-According to scouts he isn´t a great blocker when has to protect his QB.

I just don´t see anything eye-popping in Ahmed.

Oh crap, yep you're right, lol. Well, Ja or La, either way, hopefully Ja is better, lol.
I don't see either making the 53 over Coleman, McKinnon(If healthy), or Wilson or Mostert.

I don't know, if one of them flashed enough in camp I could see Wilson not making the cut. Hasty is supposed to be a pretty good route runner out of the backfield, that could end up being a factor.
