Hasty or Ahmed

You think so? I think Wilson makes the squad because of concerns over McKinnon coming back and making it through the whole season.
Mostert, McKinnon, Coleman and Wilson
with both Ahmed and Hasty on the PS

Its tough to say what anyone will do right now. The covid-19 will assuredly make teams think differently on their cuts even with extended practice squads.

As far as this team we will be in good shape at rb. Kyle can dress the facility janitor at rb and seemingly get production but across the league I think we'll see teams really attack cut day differently at multiple positions.

53-man roster

Coleman

McKinnon

Although I do think Ahmed fits better for what we do on offense.

This is of course depending on what happens with the Mostert situation.

Hasty is going to fit amazing in this scheme, he does everything Shanahan will ask, including block. Just hope he gets the chance to shine like I think he could.

I hope he gets an opportunity as well...

*unpopular opinion* I just don't see much in Wilsons game. I feel like he's more suited for a power run/downhill offense. While I appreciate the short yardage touches and the game winner against the Cards, I just don't see it like I see it in Hasty and Ahmed's game.

He will get his chance. The Shanahan's have made coaching careers out of taking UDFAs and making them house hold names.

I'm with you on Wilson. He can catch the ball better than I thought he would. I love Hasty's balance and jump cuts. He can play ST and catch the ball as well.
I really like both of these guys. I think either could contribute and fit the offense really well. I do like hasty a bit more, but only because I know more about him.

I did see somewhere that Ahmed ran a 4.32 40 yard dash coming out of highschool. So if he really has wheels like that I would not be surprised to see him produce in Shanny's system.

WOW!

Ran a 4.62 at the combine
Jamycal Hasty got the Devonta Freeman feel too him. Same size (5-8 205lbs little bowling balls) both have great balance and footwork. Both can catch the ball.

He's by far more explosive/quick.

Hasty

Vertical Jump 39" 90th percentile
Broad Jump 123" 80th percentile
20 Yard Shuttle 4.03s 95th percentile

Freeman

Vertical Jump31½" 16th percentile
Broad Jump118" 48th percentile
20 Yard Shuttle4.26s 46th percentile

Hasty ran a 4.55 which is fine (better than Freeman actually who had a 4.58).

Same. With the new 55 and PS rules, no reason to keep 4 on the active roster and game days anymore esp. when we're most likely going to need 7 WR's with 2 of them as an extension of the running game in Taylor and Hurd and with McKinnon adding his own WR skills to the Arby group.

Yeah im not sure why that is...Quick finger on the person timing in HS? Mybe he packed to much muscle while in college? Or maybe he was dealing with something like Aiyuk was. He def looks faster than a 4.62 in his highlights though
no way can Ahmed carry Hasty's jock strap !!

The Hasteeeeeeeee !!!! He'll be Shanny Choker's Devonte Free!!!!
