As someone who grew up in Scotland, not being exposed to the NFL much, the answer to these questions have always eluded me. All of you will no doubt understand better than I. When you pick a rookie in the draft:
1. Do they have to sign for you?
2. How is their salary determined?
3. If they join a team, but quickly realise they won't get much game time, can they be traded to another team where they will play...In the same season?
Thanks all.

1. Yes and No, if they choose to not sign, they re-enter the next draft.
2. The CBA now determines the salaries with the rookie wage scale
3. Yes
