That would be nice but you can't talk about any sports now without mentioning this virus.
Training camp is only 19 days away now.
Look I just did.

Now just 4 days later he's had to negative tests. You can't get rid of the virus that fast so obviously there is a problem with the tests. His wife also tested positive but I haven't heard if she is now negative. If they can't get accurate testing it doesn't make sense to send guys home and cancel practices. If they are experiencing symptoms then that's a different story. Maybe they need to have 2 or 3 consecutive tests to validate it.
Agree, there are a lot of false positives and false negatives. That's another factor in testing that has to be taken into account as a player is tested for the virus. I still think there is enough mitigation and prevention techniques that's been developed in the last several months to go forward with a NFL season, and not have too much adverse risks. I think if the NFL cancels the season, its because they are afraid of some sort of *legal* liability versus some sort of *medical* risk.

WHOOP WHOOP. Sports are coming back all at once! We need at least one positive thing out of this year.

Nope.
A second team is out of the MLS Is Back Tournament because of COVID-19 https://t.co/QCvE74P9gN

I think they are more likely to suspend the season if they are forced to stop and start. You can't really play football like that. I wish they could get a reliable test that is in the 85-90% range. If someone keeps testing negative then fine. But when you are positive one day and negative less than week later it doesn't make any sense. If that's the best they can do with testing at this point they might as well jusy go ahead and play.

Testing up, death rates down, lots of therapeutic drugs now, and a vaccine (hopefully) by early next year. I'm going to be optimistic and say 60%/40% the season starts and the season (with some modifications) will be mostly complete.
