What's really driving me crazy is the way sportscasters on TV and the radio will be talking about who is favored and what they expect from certain players ( like Cam Newton ) and then in the next moment they're talking about all the problems involved with having a full season. They go from anticipation to it ain't gonna happen in the blink of an eye.

there is no way in hell a full season is able to successfully take place without infection spreading. it's just unavoidable. once 1 person of a team gets infected you have to quarantine the whole team. how are teams supposed to make it to actual games when they have to practice among themselves virus-free first. lol

Agree about the virus. At some point if too many players/teams are out, the season will be cancelled. But this isn't going to be a normal season either. Never was going to be with the Virus - so whoever wins the super bowl this year, if there is one, is going to have an asterisk by it. Vaccine, by my reading of what's going on in Vaccine-land, is on track for early next year to be implemented. If so, then 2021 will be probably the most normal season we'll have with the virus. Till then, whatever happens this year is not really going to count in my book, even if we win the super bowl, our 6th Lombardi will always have an asterisk after it in my mind. Don't get me wrong, I *still* want that 6th Lombardi - virus or no virus!

Yeah, let's get that sixth Lombardi.
