True but soccer is still kind of spread out all over the field. They only really come together in a large group when someone scores and they celebrate. They can avoid that. They don't score much in soccer anyway. In football they're lined up across from each other on every play.

the more and more I think of everything that comes with a football game and the contact involved the more stupid and pointless it sounds to try and play football during a pandemic.

yeah i mean, no kidding. there is literally no other sport on the planet that has the amount of contact that football has as often and throughout the game.

the way it's played is literally the exact antithesis of how to fight and combat covid-19, Lol

woooooooooooooooo
Then at 0 days another countdown will start.
Right now it looks like they're going to try to have a season but there are bound to be players that have to sit out games when they test positive. That's in addition to the normal injuries which may be higher since some of the players might not be in the best shape. I don't see any hope for a season with any continuity.

Baseball starts Thursday so we will get a chance to see how things work out in a team sport with much less contact than football.

MLS started last week and that's also 11 on 11

so just because it's the same number of players present for both teams makes it comparable to american football still? Lol
