Reports out of NE saying Mohamed Sanu might get cut...he's on a $6.5M team-option.

I know kyle was interested in him before the trade deadline. He'd have to play for peanuts this yr and I'll bet he find money elsewhere. Thought it was interesting though.

Called it

I'd bring him in definitely, a great veteran who always played hard and smart, assuming he didn't do something to get released lol keep 6 WRs on the roster...Deebo, Aiyuk, Bourne, Sanu, Taylor, Pettis. Jennings and either Austin or White to the PS.

I wouldn't hate it...he would be Hurd light. He can lineup in the backfield and has some great hands.

Yup and he's from Jersey 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻Lol
Patriots released WR Mohamed Sanu.

Sanu's ankle must be beyond repair. The Patriots made the stunning move at the trade deadline to acquire Sanu for a second-round pick last season, likely in an attempt to patch together a final Super Bowl push with Tom Brady. It didn't pay off to say the least. He injured his ankle immediately and never looked the same while playing through it. The Patriots have major issues at receiver right now with 34-year-old Julian Edelman and first-round question mark N'Keal Harry at the top of the depth chart. Bill Belichick probably needs to make a last-minute move to get Cam Newton some more weapons. At least this release saves Belichick $6.5 million in cap space.

That's Uncle Bill, negotiating for a trade before he has to cut Sanu. Ha.

I can't stop thinking how automatic Taylor was on 3rd down and the chemistry him and Jimmy had from the moment Jimmy started in 17'

Who does Trent Taylor look like off the LOS? Maybe our WR coach. Or Edelman? Also, Former NE WR who went elsewhere in FA for big bucks( blocking on his name but always Got open quick) ... all. Little guys (comparatively). Really he reminds of Wes Welker the most. If Taylor stays healthy this yr and that foot doesn't give out on him, this is going to be one "slam bam, thank you ma'am, unbelievable yr on O...and for the team as a whole.

If healthy we got 3, 4 third down machines...Taylor, kittle, Jet, and Bourne, but also Au Jus, Dwelley, all other RBs, and now Aiyuk. That would be one terrifying bunch of "ball catchers" for a D to handle. Frankly a Sanu here...i just don't see that, $$$ wise or space wise. Back up wise...yeah, ok, as long as BB was still paying him.

Really glad to have Taylor back. His ability to get open, make the tough catch and keep drives alive is really going to help this team again and Garoppolo. Those two worked well together...looking forward to seeing them making plays again.

How the f**k is Mike Silver 72 years old? He looks like he's 60, and like a healthy 60.
