Just sit the guy out until week 1Originally posted by NCommand:Originally posted by NYniner85:Thank god they didn't amputate lol
I'm told Jason Verrett's hamstring injury is a Grade 1 (lowest level) strain, so no one is exactly playing a funeral dirge right now. He's coming off a good training camp.

They still might to ensure he doesn't pull it again.

The dude gets hurt every year. Glad it is not significant this time around but his injury history does not bode well for him to play through the entire season. This is why people "overreact". I am good with Moseley either way.
Yeah, that's been his history - getting hurt at the wrong possible time. Just when it looks like he's got the starting spot opposite Sherman, he gets hurt.

Hey you can't blame us, we're talking about one of the most injury prone guys ever

Seriously, is it possible for a guy to try to get hurt? Because whatever he currently does isn't working. I think he should go full Constanza and do the opposite of everything he thinks he should do in regards to football and conditioning.

It's almost comical at this point how many WR injuries...was thinking Austin had a good shot to make the team.

Was bound to happen with the covid offseason. I recall this happening during the last shortened offseason

I remember hearing about that Vets Stadium turf...guys would say getting tackled on it was like getting tackled on concrete. Hoping for good health going forward with the Niners' WRs - enough is enough!

Very confused about Austin...no one said anything about him being hurt last practice or this morning when Lynch was on the radio

Stuff like this - where players are injured at the worst possible time - lends me to think that injury *has* to have a mental component to it. That's what my gut tells me.
