I have to say that it is getting harder and harder to envision how the league will be able to have a season this year. It seems as though everyday there is some new set of restrictions being discussed about how to limit the player's interactions. No preseason, no 11 on 11's only 75 or 80 players allowed in camp. Not sure how they expect any team could be ready to play under those conditions. There is a lot of chatter in the forum about how this rookie will do or that rookie. Seems to me under the current situation they will have an uphill battle to be able to contribute at all. Its too bad so many people out there refused to take this virus seriously. It might have been easier to get under control. Now there is no way of knowing how long it will go on for. I was really looking forward to this season too. Such a drag.

How does limiting 11 on 11 really prevent the spread? And if you don't want to even hold practice, how are you really going to play games?
Two very depressing posts on the 4th of july weekend. I'm gearing myself up for a possible cancellation of the season, but still hopeful the games can continue. But Doc has a point, what the virus does is going to be the deciding point unfortunately. It's not totally in the NFLs hands. Until this particular virus has a vaccine- nothing can go back to normal. There is huge liability for the NFL if fans and players (coaches and front office personnel more likely) start getting terribly sick or dying.
I think we know enough about the virus to have games, its whether or not the NFL is willing to take risks or not. Businesses, in general, are very risk averse.
