This really isn't up to us IMHO. There's something else at work here. Coache's preference maybe? Objectively I accept everything you've laid out but we would be crazy. Crazy to redo Mostert's deal after only 1/2 of season and 1 year into his current contract. Crazy.

huh? we're having a convo about two players...that's what the WZ is all about.

This has nothing to do with redoing his contract. Just want to see who fans think is better for this team.

Coleman got the same blocking that Mostert had. Why didn't Coleman have more big plays if he can do everything Mostert does but more?

I'll tell you why. Cause he can't.

You would rather have a 10 yard gain then a 40 yard touchdown with the same blocking. Got it.

Coleman is a marginally better inside zone runner and better receiver. Mostert is a much better outside zone runner. Seems that most of our big play action pass plays come off of run action to outside zone, so the offense overall is more explosive with Mostert. Seems pretty obvious to me. We also lost the Super Bowl because Shanny wanted to be hard-headed and give Coleman carries in a game that should have been Mostert's start to finish. So there's that too.

Do you know what a game plan is?

The game plan is to score touchdowns. Kyle always talks about explosive plays.

It's just a convo, but there's literally no evidence showing that Coleman was a better RB than Mostert last yr. We're all fans of SF, I don't care who runs for a TD or whatever. I can be objective and point out who's played better and supply facts to back it up.

I see no facts backing up TC from you guys
