Yeah, it's all in how you view it, I guess.

As to WR labels, lots of unknowns and question marks. The good news is you can see where they all fit in Kyle's WCO.

F/ZWR: Jalen Hurd; Jauan Jennings
XWR: Brandon Aiyuk; Dante Pettis & Travis Benjamin
SWR: Kendrick Bourne; Trent Taylor
ZWR: *Deebo Samuel

Personally I wanted CeeDee Lamb over Brandon Aiyuk because he offers something Garoppolo doesn't have and brings more balance to the position but that can be achieved by a combo of Aiyuk and Hurd's strengths too.

I am not sure if you are a Giants fan, but this line of reasoning (we have Kittle so we dont need a #1 WR), I kind of equate to the early 2000s Giants....when fans would say it doesnt matter that JT Snow is a below average hitter at a premium bat position because we had Jeff Kent who was a premium bat at a position where teams typically dont get a ton of production.

I love Kittle. I know he is our #1 target in the passing game. But just because we have him, does not mean we dont need to build up our WR corps too.

Saunders + getting to the SB helped Deebo and Bourne mature & build confidence ALOT as receivers and it will show in 2020. If Taylor and Hurd are healthy also then I think we are more than solid and all other receivers are just icing on the cake. I'm surprised anyone even posted the poll since we have Pettis in the stables, D coordinators have nervous breakdowns preparing for him.

There are a lot of questions about our WR situation this year but i am confident that these young receivers will shine. Proven are Deebo & Bourne.
We have the rookie Aiyuk who looks like a stud and still have Jalen Hurd who, if healthy, looks like a beast! Not to mention Kittle looks like a WR out on the field.

i say we are STACKED at the WR postion!
What do you guys think?

Agreed. Assuming good health, one of those aforementioned questions, moving forward this will be a dangerous group. Especially considering who's running the show.
Only reason why the wr room is questioned is because they're young, not house hold names and unproven with the exception of Deebo and Bourne. But there's no question the talent is there

I get it. Do you think the FO has done enough?
As long as Bourne's still w/the team, then it's a NO for me..

sorry but I just think that Shann Play Caller Choker will just keep giving him chances after chances that he doesn't deserve

I think we have our #1 and #2 receivers in Deebo and Aiyuk. The rest of the guys are good backups. We can win with this group going foward.

I honestly see both as 2A & 2B..

Aiyuk at best (rookie year) can only be as good as last year's Sanders.

??? What is your problem with Bourne? Or Shanny?

Deep breaths, everything will be okay

Maybe Deebo is not the ideal size for a #1, but he can fill that void, until we get someone with a little more size/speed. Aiyuk is an upgrade over Sanders, IMO.

I just honestly believe that Bourne ain't going to cut it... nothing personal... but he's average at best and sometimes, as good as a player can be, it is just not enough.. unless you don't mind having AVERAGE players and trying to win Super Bowls.

as for Shanny, the only problem I have is that he needs to face his personal demons that cost us a RING ..

other than that, ALL GOOD BUDDY !!

Haha glad you good my man!

An I agree with you that Bourne is not, and prob will not be an elite, or even top wr in the league. However, I think he has value for what he does. He is a good target if we have injuries, but also seems to be there when we need a big 3rd down conv or red zone target. Also he is a great locker room personality and works hard and that is a great thing to be as a bubble, sub in type of player.

An I guess I can see where you are comimg from on Shanny, But that is still my dude. I have the itmost faith he will get us over that hump and bring #6 back to the bay
