We were the better team and lost, that's the sad part about last season.

Similar to 2011 when we lost to the Giants. We were the best team in the NFL that year too but didn't even get to the SB bc of Ahmad Bradshaw and the ridiculous "forward progress" call.

They threw that flag on Moore on 3rd down when he was covering kelce.

Yea, it's just disheartening. I don't want to think more about that game. It's gonna bother me for the rest of my life or at least if we ever win another one.

One play that has not been mentioned much by the media is the pass interference on Moore.

I have seen this called more than a few times, and I do not think it is fair.

The contact between Moore and Kelce was not initiated by Moore, but a result of the sudden stop by Kelce and the momentum of Moore.

I don't think it's fair to the defender to call a pass interference on that kind of a play.

An example of when this was called but picked up was the Panthers game involving Gronk several years ago. The linebacker was covering Gronk, and the sudden stop caused him to careen into him.

The Chiefs had this type of call go against them against the Patriots in the regular season.

Did you agree with the call in the Super Bowl?

Nope. Football is a work and they don't even want to make it seem like it's competitive anymore. This was different type of situation and the referees correctly did not call it, but remember the play in the final Seahawks game where the TE essentially ran right into Fred Warner, then threw his hands up looking for a flag when Warner began to respond (probably thinking he was being blocked for a running play)? Again, the refs didn't call it but it seems a lot of talking heads wanted this to be called pass interference. It's ridiculous.

I agreed with that non-call. Both players contacted each other simultaneously. Warner simply did not have enough time to disengage from Hollister.

The Seahawks were on the right side of an almost identical play against the Patriots in 2016, when Chancellor was covering Gronkowski. Both of them charged into each other.

I want to talk more about pass interference in general.

Should momentum be considered in making rulings on pass interference?

Contact by a player who is not playing the ball is pass interference, but I think that contact should have to be initiated by the defender.
