Who do you think would make a bigger impact on our Defense?

Yeah, definitely Clowney - you can't beat a good pass rusher.

But what about an above average pass rusher that's often injured?

Clowney is nowhere near the caliber of player Adams is -- a fact indicated by Clowney's current unemployment in contrast to the huge compensation Seatle just paid for Adams.
Clowney is tremendous setting the edge against the run; he's an average pass rusher. Nice player to have. Far from a stud.

Clowney with our DL would make it unnecessary to have Adams. A decent safety would suffice.

Well, I mean from a pure pass rusher discussion, Adams had more sacks last year....

I may be in the minority, but I like Clowney. He is a beast against the run, and has some good flashes in pass rush and even in coverage sometimes. But with his injuries, and inconsistency, I agree he is over rated. In the straight up who makes the bigger impact, I have to go with Adams. He is someone you have to account for on every play. He would be an instant starter for us, and upgrade. Clowney would be a depth piece and insurance for Dee Ford's knee. I don't think he would start over AA in base, and isn't as dangerous as Ford in obvious passing downs.

I would love to ad either one, but not pay a bunch. Our units are already pretty strong.
Seattle paid big and statistically Adams was not much of an upgrade for them at safety.

Ford sucks that's why KC replaced him with Clark and win a chip for doing it. The timing of your homerism is suspect so before you ban me, tell me how you plan on paying 2 busts in Alexander and Ford all that money? 😂 you have $11 mil, Clowney was offered more by Tennessee, Seattle, Cleveland and Philly and said no to all. He needs to realize with his core injury his value is at about $7 mil tbh

Lol you think players actually care about Covid? Bunch of grandstanding trying to make sure they get payed if the seasons cancelled. Most these guys would be a strip club the next day if the season got cancelled.
