What were his PFF numbers like the last two seasons?? I been meaning to ask?? Anyone?? From what I remember is that he's been always working through an injury, hopefully he's healthy now.

This was from 2017
In terms of numbers, Long had actually been the team's best performer in pass protection this year, and has allowed just five total pressures on his 223 pass-blocking snaps, for a pass-blocking efficiency of 98.2, the 10th best mark among centers.
Solid depth that can play across the interior

Very good pickup...he's got good experience, and provides a safety blanket for the C position and OG depth. Kudos to Lynch & Co. to snatch him up before another team got him.

I don't know how many are going to make it but it sure looks like ShanaLynch are bringing in a lot of "experienced" depth...veterans with real NFL experience.

You can certainly see where we're still crazy young too...but quality veteran depth which is smart esp. during a pandemic and keep a large 16 person young pipeline on the PS.

Still hoping the Niners trade Compton to the Jets for a future 7th round pick (saves us 2.5 million if we trade him, only 2 million if we cut him) also the Jets wanted him in FA but we beat them to the punch. To me our starting line should be Williams-Tomlinson-Richburg-Brunskill McGlinchey, that leaves Garland+Skule+McKivitz+Long as our top 9, with guys like Reynolds and others battling as the extra guys.

Hell yeahhhhhhh. Worst case we could always move Brunskill to tackle (from RG if he gets the job) if we feel he's an upgrade over the other backup tackles

Wut?
Long was drafted, by the Redskins, in 2014. Shanahan was fired by the Redskins after the 2013 season.
