Coach Daniel Bullocks and Tony Oden are the biggest unknowns to me with regards to the 2nd CB spot. I hope they are up to developing Eman and the rest of the DB's.

The best thing for this organization long term is for Moseley to take this spot and play well enough to be looked at as a long term starter at CB.
He's cheap to bring back next season, we've seen him play well in games ie. the big stage isn't too big for him, and he hasn't been on IR for the last 4 years.
Rooting for all these guys to succeed but reality is, we know Dontae Johnson isn't very good, Tim Harris could use another season of development and Verrett is always hurt.

Verrett has the most talent, and we know E-man can come in and play at a high level, so I say start Verrett and if he gets hurt then E-man can take over. This is also assuming Verrett is back to form physically and mentally.

Interesting perspective, cap reasons. Spoon is an unrestricted free agent after 2020 whereas Moseley is a restricted free agent. I don't think the coaches are thinking that far ahead, but definitely a factor to consider with some important extensions that will need to get done. Go Moseley!

Moseley got it on lock, I truly believe he's just getting started and will be a very good player in the league for a long time, but I also thought Tremaine Brock and Rashard Robinson were going to also lol so I'm not so much on point I guess

It´s clear that Saleh and Oden don´t really trust Moseley and that´s why they want an open competition. I mean, Shanahan already said that there´s no open competition for the WILL spot.
My main concern with Moseley is that I don´t think he has a big upside from what we saw last year.
I´d say that if Verret can stay healthy and back to form he´ll win the job because he is more suited for man coverage and having Oden I think we´ll play more man coverage than last year.
