Championship
Damn. The 49ers are signing a whole new team. He will show this team how to tackle.

I have no clue who he is.

Ferocious, heavy hitter. I actually mocked him in the late 7th to the Niners in one of my early mocks. Box safety or possibly a guy they look to convert to linebacker.

Was he drafted?
If there is a speck of talent out there, GM John L is going to find it. Dang he just doesn't stop. Those who turned up their noses at his signing on as GM....well, what we got was a guy with terrific football intelligence and more drive than anyone could have imagined. He is in overdrive , all gas, no brakes, in looking over anybody who could help us just a bit more than someone else on the squad. And this kid looks like a tackler. Gotta love it. Way to go big John.

Keep 'em comiing .

I don't think so. Played through a torn groin last season. Rehabbed and ran 4.48 at the pro day. Would be a WILL/SS project.

(Not Combine numbers):

4.48 40 (Would have ranked 12th among DBs at the Combine)
37-inch vertical jump (Top 7)
4.21-second Shuttle (Top 7)

He played through an injury last year:

Evan Foster finally got an MRI on his groin after finishing his senior season at Syracuse. The result: a small tear in one of his adductor muscles, located on the inside of his groin.

The Orange's starting strong safety for the last three years, Foster said he initially felt pain during a Week 3 loss to Clemson before it returned about a month later when Pittsburgh came to the Carrier Dome. For SU's final five contests, Foster dwindled down his practice time in an effort to preserve his body for game days.

Foster underwent sports hernia surgery on Dec. 12, leaving him with what he thought was a 14-plus week timeframe to prepare for Syracuse's Pro Day (which was canceled due to the pandemic).

In the day and age of mobile quarterbacks this is your prototype defender. A smaller but fast linebacker, or a larger defensive back who is a sure tackler. Whether or not foster makes the team I believe this is what the future of defensive players entails similar to Fred Warner
I wish we had pre season to see what guys like this can do.

Huh?
Cause every other GM out there isn't looking to improve their team.
Lol, ok.

Another hybrid guy for the big nickel and dime.
