Wound up being Acy cut. Mayden I think makes this team on the PS. He's still raw but the kid flashed at 'Bama. Mutli-dimensional hybrid CB/FS/SS who can play anywhere in the secondary. That's not what Acy offered, so he didn't have nearly the amount of value.

The 49ers have now picked up two players I mocked to them this off-season: Mayden and Foster. Our vision on defense is pretty clear and it makes it easy to see what kind of players we're going to target.

This pickup has John Lynch written all over it. If he plays like that in camp somebody behind Tartt and Ward is in serious trouble. I guarantee he's gonna be in the middle of a few scuffles because he's gonna de-cleat a few people, and he has to to make the team. And it's about time we had another true hard hitting safety patrolling the middle of the field.

With these signings I gotta adjust my 53 prediction. I gotta say, John Lynch is really on the ball. Bring in talent every where. My biggest fear is that we're recruiting for other teams. But with all this undrafted talent there's no way more than a few aren't making the team.
