12-4 to 13-3 if things go right for us, health wise. But man that playoff change, only the #1 seed gets a bye week now, gonna be important to get that #1 seed, it was last season, helped get back Dee, Kwon, and others. Too bad the refs screwed us in the SB. I'm still not over it, but we blew the lead, the D let down, the play calling was subpar, not up to Kyle's reputation.

Same. I'm still not over it. Maybe I never will get over it. I still haven't replayed the super bowl game yet either.

I'll go 11-5 as I think I can see injuries and/or Covid cases costing us a few games.

Losses at SEA, at N.O, , at AZ would be 13/ 3 . But we have another loss no one expects somewhere in part due to injuries.

So put me down for 12 / 4 assuming we don't have the same injury problem as last yr. ultimately THAT is what beat us in the SB . Midway thru 4th , Nick was gassed as was every other DL, and we were down 3 DLs, so starters never got a blow. If key players go down, then who knows how many we win. So i assume that' doesn't happen.

FTR, i was officially 9 / 7 last yr with usual truckload of injuries and 13 / 3 if we got away with just a few injuries. Turned out we had loads of injuries, but won 13 anyway. Go figure. This is a better team than last yr, more time together, big talents back on field . But if we start not a backup , but.a 3rd stringer at C, this could be a long yr..

Also JimmyG has to keep from getting real bad injury. If we play Chiefs again in SB., first thing i would do would be to tell Andy Reid, anybody spear our QB in the head wiht a helmet, kyle was going to bring a helmet over to Andy and bounce one off his head...or that of the spearer.

Lastly, i pray we finish the season. Please make sus wrong.

It may have but if you think about the games we lost because of injuries.....way more injuries than the teams we are playing against such as Seattle and especially Atlanta and Baltimore? So even if the ball bounced our way, if we had just Ford in the Baltimore game we win, if we had Kittle or Gould in the Seattle game we win, if we had any of the six starters on defense (Sherm) in the game against Atlanta we win. So there's that

Teams with the lowest number of injuries to key players always win more. That is why this pre-season prognostication is always "interesting."

Agree. I wonder if sacrificing Sus to the football gods would un-Jinx our team from the injury bug?
