I don't like the idea of crowd noise and music being blasted into the stadium. Who does it benefit? I don't know any other fans personally that would be upset without all that filler noise. Are coaches worried about their calls and strategies being picked up more easily by the other team with a near silent stadium?
I just think crowd noise would be a huge disappointment. I enjoyed watching the MLS games because you can hear the on field chatter going on, and I don't even like soccer. Basketball ruined their chance at having a unique experience with all the artificial sound just blaring the whole time, although a few teams had minimal noise coming through the broadcast.
I know this isn't the biggest deal in the world but I think NFL should nix the crowd noise and make it a truly even playing field or as close as you can get to it without being at a neutral site.

one more time...
the crowd noise, will only be heard on TV.
same when you are watching these NBA games and you hear the crowd noise, the players don't hear it. it's only for the audience.

Why not just sell the stadium at half capacity or less with social distancing guidelines??

You'll really be able to hear the violent collisions. The NFL probably doesn't want that.

Because following CDC guidelines, 6 ft distancing means every other row, (50% less), and then every 3rd seat (1/3 of 50) equals 16%. That's how they figured it at Tex A&M Kyle's Stadium, and also at Ohio State's stadium both seating 105,000. That is 16% of the total and supposedly Chiefs are going 22% occupancy. Maybe their seats are wider than in other stadiums, IDK. But that's how they came up with what % of stadium seats can be occupied. If a bunch of people end up crowded around the 50 yd line after the kickoff, there's gonna be trouble for the home team.
