You expect people to obey those guidelines?

I mean if KC fans can do it why not everyone?? I guess no one gives a s**t right if they catch it or not or do they??
People still listen to the television? After years of s**tty announcers I do my own color commentary. And, on Thanksgiving, I Madden the hell out of a Turducken.

And just FYI, I personally called 19 holding penalties on the Chiefs during the Super Bowl. That's why the NFL won't give me a job.

Because following CDC guidelines, 6 ft distancing means every other row, (50% less), and then every 3rd seat (1/3 of 50) equals 16%. That's how they figured it at Tex A&M Kyle's Stadium, and also at Ohio State's stadium both seating 105,000. That is 16% of the total and supposedly Chiefs are going 22% occupancy. Maybe their seats are wider than in other stadiums, IDK. But that's how they came up with what % of stadium seats can be occupied. If a bunch of people end up crowded around the 50 yd line after the kickoff, there's gonna be trouble for the home team.

If you put between 10,000 and 13,000 people in a 65,000 seat stadium it's really bleak. Just ask any old time Niner fan that sat thru games at Candlestick when only 30-35,000 were in the stands. It was pretty gloomy. Even if they manage to keep people separated in their seats they still have to control bathroom visits and entering and exiting the stadium since everyone arrives and leaves at the same time. What about concessions? Do they open up for just a few thousand people or would it be worth it.

At this point I'll be happy to just see the games. I don't care if people are in the stands because I've gotten used to seeing empty seats at baseball and basketball games. Even if I had tickets I would stay home rather than be subjected to all the restrictions that they would have at a game. You probably wouldn't even be able to tailgate which is half the fun.

the crowd noise, will only be heard on TV.

same when you are watching these NBA games and you hear the crowd noise, the players don't hear it. it's only for the audience.

This is not true. It will be pumped into the stadium.

That's good to hear. I was hoping that was completely wrong, I also don't think some teams should have a competitive advantage with fans in attendance

.
Only solution to this is to let us in!!
I Think in the first 10-20 seconds there can be fake noise. It would be to mask the play call from coach to player and player to pplayers. Also none during a no huddle.

But the standard sounds should still be done. Things like player sounds(willis' tackle duracell chime), the PA calls, and music.

In fairness how much of an advantage is like ~20,000 fans really gonna be when these guys are used to playing in front of 60,000+ ?
