The NFL informed clubs it will provide a loop of pre-recorded crowd noise specific to each team's stadium that must be played over the PA system in empty stadiums -- and partially filled stadiums, at least to start the season -- at 70 decibels starting at kickoff, per sources.

nothing silly about a warrior chant as chants have been used in battle for thousands of years. That chant is a constant reminder to the opposing defense that we are whooping that ass. The 300 video clip on the chant explains it perfectly
it's also motivation and the players feed off it, especially at away games in hostile environments when the crowd gets quiet after our first down.. AROO !
