Not really true. There are different ways to measure a teams health. Total games lost, number of players on IR etc. Most sites I looked at have the Niners around 10-15 for the most injuries. The difference between them and the teams with fewer injuries is really slight. Over a 4 year average we were 13th but 14 thru 20 had about 2 fewer injuries per year. Not that big of a difference. One site, (Bettors.com) lists the Niners as one of the healthiest teams last year with 31 injuries.
So it really isn't correct to say the Niners have been one of the most injured teams 6 years straight. It depends on what they are calling injuries and the differences from the average to the worst isn't that great.
Also, I see a lot of "too deep in the forest to see the trees" syndrome here. Everyone on this board is a mega-fan that is deeply-familiar with the Niners. Think of some of the players that have got hurt this year: Chris Thompson, Ross Dwelley, Jonathon Kongbo, Shon Coleman, JJ Nelson... hell, even Tavon Austin. The truth is, if players off these caliber were injured on other teams, you wouldn't even hear about it because these players are irrelevant and nobody gives a s**t. Unless you closely-follow other teams, it's going to be very hard to find info about injuries to players when you're talking about players that are 90-man roster-tier.

What I see a lot on this board is analyzing the Niners' injuries on a micro level (i.e. all players - including useless ones - where we piece together injury data from beat writers etc), and then analyzing other teams' injuries on a macro level (i.e. well-known players using easy-to-find injury reports). What you find up with is a warped perspective.

And then you get the disingenuous takes. Stuff like, "oh, woe is us, Dee Ford got hurt". Gee, you mean the same Dee Ford that was traded to the 49ers at a reduced price because of pre-existing knee concerns? "Oh, woe is us, Kwon Alexander got hurt". Oh, you mean the same Kwon Alexander that had missed 18 of 64 games (28%) before coming to the Niners?

Lol
We been losing players for years dude..
Bowman, aldon, Justin Smith, alex Smith was balling out finally & was injured, our starting nose against Seattle, ended his career, we didn't have a Heathy wideout against the giants in that championship game at home that Alex completed maybe one pass to a wide receiver. Delaine walker. I can go on.

You really haven't seen how we lead the league in injuries...
Ok

Ok

I know I don't think people understand the difference between oft injured players and just bad luck. Also, people don't really seem to care or analyze the quality of the players injured plus the length of time and the frequency. It seems to be a weak argument but oh well. We know the truth and the truth is the Niners consistently are one of the most injured teams in the league to good players. We're not talking about the fringe players that we most likely won't hear of on other rosters. That's common sense.
