2020 49ers Cut Down to 53

Wierd question, Does anyone know if your allowed to trade a practice squad player to another team for one of there practice squad players? 🤔 Just Curious

Anyone think there's anyone worth claiming that was cut yesterday?

and on the d line.. injuries pecked away our depth and of course the team has to keep good old boys like cj and thomas. i am not talking out of both sides of my mouth. i believe the team could have dumped thomas and signed someone anyone on the d line better than him.. hell even 92 our second white guy on the d line that the vikings cut would have been welcomed by me in place of thomas. sure we hope taylor will be fine. sure we hope deebo james and our rookie will be fine. but people would be foolish to undervalue the loss of sanders in my opinion

You can just claim players off of practice squad

Ok yeah.. so adding them to the 53 is the only way to get a player off another teams practice squad? You cant just swap/trade practice squad players?

There was no cap savings by dumping Thomas, and no one would have traded something worthwhile for either CJ or Thomas. CJ is fine for 2020 we need 3 QBs in case Jimmy or Nick get COVID. As for Zettel, ehh, I wasn't impressed by him last year, plus he's an EDGE guy, Solly is interior DL.
