Crushed for what? They swept the 9ers in a year where they won 3 games total, and that was pre Murray and infusion of more talent. The Cards have been as much of a PIA as the Seahawks over the years for the 49ers. You can usually throw the book out the window on division games.

That's true for sure. Even though we beat them last year, it was a struggle! And that was with them having a rookie qb and inferior roster. All off season everyone talked up the other contenders (Seattle, Saints, etc...) and I kept thinking... the Cardinals could end up being the biggest challenge.

2nd yr QBs are either awesome like Lamar and Mahomes or duds and figured out like all the rest.

Never knew Coleman had sickle cell, he should sit this week until things clear up. No reason to salvage long term health week 1 of a season that might not even finish.

Run first teams seldom win the SB. We were undefeated and 5-0 in SB's playing the Walsh philosophy, and are 0-2 playing run first under two separate head coaches. It took 49 years for any team to lose a Super Bowl after being ahead by 10 or more points, and it's only been done three times. Kyle owns two of them.

Marty Schottenheimer won 200 games in the NFL, and has one of the highest winning percentages, but no Super Bowls, and a very poor record in the playoffs. The league finally gave up on Marty Ball.

Teams take chances in the SB. They pull out all the stops. You can't keep up in the ground game.

If we want number 6, we must establish ourselves as a passing team.
