Plus, Kinlaw is nowhere near ready. The guy was getting flattened on a couple of plays. Hopefully, when we play pocket QBs the pass rush will look a bit better. Today the pass rush was just non-existent, the line just had no push.

I was thinking exactly the same thing...
Sherman would get flagged
No doubt... I'm just not sure how they could have missed that. The ball was going one way then it was in the face of our WR. Physics tells you that ball was redirect.

Either way, our issues is way more than just WRs, that is apparent.
Wow haven't heard a peep form you until today lol...weird

Nah it wasn't non-existent, He was winning his one-on-ones and killed the RG to get his first pressure when they were backed up into the RZ. Murray had to throw it away or he have been sacked.
Also they weren't running the ball up the middle...it was all murray scrambling.

Javon Kinlaw is winning his one-on-one battles, a great sign for the 49ers

Would have had a sack if no for Murray having to throw a ball away.

AA blew containment on Murray multiple times today going for the sack.

This 49ers performance was beyond disappointing but the main takeaway is that the NFCW is going to be a very tough division going forward. I'm not ready to make the leap that Arizona is going to challenge SF/SEA for the division, but they look like a 8-8/9-7 team. They only won 5 games last year. Interested to see how they handle the Redskins defensive front in week 2.

Yeah SF is gonna have issues with scrambling QBs. Facts are they played a horrible game at all 3 levels, while AZ played one of their best and squeaked by.
We will get things figured out. I had SF splitting with AZ gonna have to beat them in AZ.
