It may be something to keep an eye on in the future...It be a sign of the inability of putting away teams, letting teams hang around...

This was basically exactly the same thing when Nick Mullens was starting, except we lost all of those games. At least with Jimmy we were winning more of those close games, but its possible that its just chance that we are winning the close ones now and if mulleins was in there, we could've had the same record?

Jesus...we had different personnel. Less talent. That should have been obvious to you.
49ers are soft in WR. Damn pettis reminds me of deep from the boys

LMAO
Its one game. Flush the toilet and get on the plane to NJ. Typically the J-E-T-S are a good cure for any kind of lethargy. Great weather now too.

If I can see that sitting on my couch in Ohio, why haven't Lynch and Shanahan seen it in Cali. I can't get too hyped over one game, but boy is it discouraging to see the problems of 2019 carried over to 2020.

Been saying this for a while. I gotta believe that the thought has crossed their mind. It's hard to keep faith with Jimmy right now. They should draft a mobile QB next year. I don't give a crap if its the 1st or 2nd round. But you gotta get in on this s**t and smarten up like what the rest of the league is doing. It's just ridiculous at this point. Just look at how the refs gift them 15 yard personal foul penalties for those "late hits" after they scramble upfield and slide. WTF is that s**t?

I don't even care if the late round QB guy you get is a bust. All you gotta do is make him run around and slide, and there's a good chance we get an automatic first down after a penalty. What a joke.

We're basically playing handicapped right now without a mobile QB.

He's never been the same after the injury. There's no way to defend him anymore

LA won using their run game....hmmmmm
I'm sure JG will play some good games. But the problem is that he has too many like this one. He is too inconsistent. He is skittish in the pocket. He needs everything in place around him to succeed. He's at best the #15 QB in this league and is not a dual threat, so it's easier for defenses to plan against us.
I'm fine with Jimmy being average, if we had a top 5 D but the defense has definitely regressed. We needed more from him and that isn't happening.
It was Jimmy's worst game as a Niner...not even close. It is what it is and they have to improve a lot & there's a lot to improve. We'll see what our team's made of starting off so badly. Once again, the defense got worn out chasing Murray...he smoked 'em for over 100 yds rushing not to mention his passing. Hopkins gives their offense a new dimension and we had no answer for it. If Jimmy doesn't shake this off and continues to struggle, there'll be a growing call for Mullens to take over. That would've seemed impossible a year ago, but all of a sudden it has some appeal. I know it's early, but Jimmy looked bad most of the day. That can't continue...it's got to improve and quickly. This division's so stacked the Niners can't afford any kind of mediocrity.
