You people are ridiculous. Worst fans ever. Jimmy missed some balls, but statistically he had a good game.

Good statistical games mean SQUAT. Jimmy had terrible pocket presence and was way late on several passes. He had Mostert all alone in the end zone and never even looked in his direction. Jimmy was nervous in the pocket and seems to have regressed a bit. I certainly hope not...

One game. Opener with no preseason. He's never have a good 1st game. Mistakes happen (imagine the webzone if it existed in the 80s and 90s )

They would've been calling for Montana and Rice to get cut after the 1986 divisional game

Those guys had won two Super Bowls by that point. They didn't choke them away like our current QB. Jimmy hasn't played well for several games now. Since we resigned him, you can count the number of great games he's had on one hand. This isn't him being rusty, this is who he is and likely always will be.

Jerry Rice didn't win any Super Bowls by 1986 and Montana was considered "washed up" during that time too. Jimmy had plenty of good games last season, last Sunday was clearly not one of them. 49ers fans just being overreacting cry babies as usual. How about wait for more games to play out before calling for the best quarterback we've had since Steve Young to get benched

Best QB since Young? He's arguably not even the best QB we've had since Hoyer. How many years does he get to coast on that 5 game stretch in 2017?

Sorry wrong thread kind of but NFLN showing a replay of the game right now. Right before the end of first quarter they have 1st & goal on 10 leading 10-7. Such a well executed drive until that point. I totally forgot that was one of the most wasted opportunities of the entire game. Seeing it again pissed me off to no end just now. Settling for an FG there is still annoying as all f**king hell.

Yeah, that pissed me off, too. Just a wasted game we should not have lost.

Actually I was so mad I forgot they didn't even get a FG on that drive they came away empty after a 4th & goal stop (couldn't get enough leverage from IOL). Now I'm even more pissed! s**t.

Dare I say, can't wait to see Gore play...I think we come back home 2-1 if we play how we're capable of.
