Bro, remember last year? Offense looked pedestrian all day against the Bucs in the season opener then the next week against the bengals damn near put up a 50 burger? Have faith my guy 👊🏼

This should be an easy win for us. Darnold is very average.

The only statistic that counts is that final score. Jimmy had a better rating, more yards, more TD passes and no INTs but Murray made the big plays that won the game. That's what counts.

I think the niners will get refocused and get a 31-10 type win this game. This team has too much pride and talent to stay down long.

BTW in a game there's always going to be SOME missed tackles, poor angles, etc. It's folly to expect a perfect game.
But the game should have been won. The fact that it wasn't was primarily because of the play of the QB. Even KS said that Jimmy has to play better. For him to go so far as to say even that much cannot be discounted. No amount of trying to intimidate posters from posting the truth is going to change that.

BumCity I can only assume your joking. Yes we lost and JG wasn't at his best but Mullins is not getting his shot this early in the season. Jimmy was OK and didnt excel when he needed to but honestly I didn't like the last 8 play calls of their final drive at all. It felt like we depended on the run the whole drive until we got to the 35 or so. Then everything seemed like it needed to be a TD there. Third and 5 lets go for a 20 yard pass instead of trying for the first down. We had plenty of time. This is not all on JG. How many sacks did we have, how many times did KM gash us. How many times did Mosely get burned. Too many team issues in this one.

Our last two games we've blown 10 point leads. Let's see if we can make a lead too big to choke this time..

I mean, I think Shanny has never said in a presser that Jimmy G had an amazing game, even when he has. He's said plenty of times Jimmy can play better. Walsh did the same thing to Montana.
Jimmy looked better vs the cards than he did against the Bucs last year - but that was so many games ago that people forget.

Week 1 2019: 18/27 166 yds 1 TD 1INT
Week 1 2020: 19/33 239 yds 2 TD 0 INT

Neither of those are gonna set the world on fire, but it's a long way to go before we start hitting the QB panic button.

No Le'Veon Bell next week from what I understand. That means a pretty sizable dose of good, old Frank the Tank. How ironic.

Jets primary weapon in leveon Bell won't be playing Sunday, look for the defense to feast on all the third and longs when they can't generate a rushing game.

At least they're staying in West Virginia instead of NYC. Less temptation to sneak out and go to a club or restaurant.
