I was going to add the same thing. Jimmy needs to lose the brace and try to throw normally again. Hope to see Aiyuk start at WR and bring up White,

Gotta say that if the brace is that much of an issue it has to go.

If you get hurt again, it's not going to be any worse for your career than this week 1 performance continued.

Yeah he didn't really seem to look downfield that much

Has been the problem with this team for the last 5 years at least...
Adjustments:

1) Kyle needs to get his head out of his ass and fkn call plays with a passion a and fury of fk the world! Idk what happened yesterday but with all of that personal available he hardly even scratched the surface. Felt like he managed the game as if it were a pre season game. Very disappointing in watching. Felt like watching him coach the Super Bowl again. He gets to cute for himself at times.

2) Jimmy fkn G: I know we were down two WR's but that wasn't the issue yesterday. Not at all. Dude doesn't look right back there lol. He never seems to want to look downfield. Seems like his favorite plays are the fkn check downs. 3x he missed a wide open streaking WR.
The last drive was the end all for me. He couldn't hit the flat side of a barn if his life depended on it.

3) the lack of a pre season shows. Our D was gassed. Tackling was the s**ts. Seems like Bosa was the only one on the Line who was able to put up pressure. Lol Kinlaw looked more like coleslaw. Dee Ford looks done. He just can't seem to get healthy.

4) we will be fine but Jimmy fkn G and Kyle will be our Achilles heels this year.

Involve Jordan Reed. No one else is a threat besides him and Kittle. Hope Aiyuk returns and maybe get Sanu. Pettis is dead to me.

Exactly....if they are worried about Reed's health then they shouldn't have signed him.
Get Jimmy into a rhythm early with the WR's

Can't lie, that's brilliant.
Need more efficiency from the run game. You cant put that kind of pressure on Jimmy. He operates the best when he has a run game.

Still think Coleman should come in and hit em while Mostert then comes in and gashes em. Continue to use mckinnon in the pass game and i can pretty much assure you Jimmy plays better if we do those 3 things

Exactly Run, Run, Run, Run it again.....then running some more.

Greetings from Lima-Perú,
Can't blame the lack of pre season on anything. None of the other teams had one either and many of them had a lot of new personnel or coaches. We have pretty much the same team so if anything we should have an advantage. The Cards had a new receiver in Hopkins and all he did was catch 14 passes. The Seahawks made some changes and opened up their passing offense and Wilson went wild. Lack of pre season didn't hurt them.
Figure out what we have at receiver. The bottom line is if defenses aren't worries about our receivers our offense is easier to contain. If our current guys can't get open find someone who can. Hopefully Deebo and Aiyuk are those guys. If not we are screwed.

It seemed the offense had trouble beating man coverage all day. If that's the case, I think Jimmy is more comfortable operating out of spread formations where the matchups become clearer. The 49ers were often bunching things up formationally versus ARI and I think that muddied the picture for Jimmy. If the Jets want to man up most of the game, then spread things out.
1. air the ball out. if kyle really trusts jimmy (i don't think he does, but we don't know for sure) then he'll let his high paid QB air the ball out. get creative, but not smartest guy in the room creative. we're banged up receiver which is well documented, so maybe try going with 3 TE sets occasionally. we got dwelley who's a good TE and a great #3. let's get him going in the offense a little bit.

2. get dante pettis off the field. as far away as possible. let him suit up for emergency, but other than that, no PT for him please. kevin white was the #7 pick in the draft. sure he's a bust up to this point, but that doesn't take way his height and athleticism, so why not take a chance and give him so burn over pettis? would love to see them bring in sanu. familiar with kyle's offense as well as a reliable veteran, but has injury history.

3. get juice involved. he's a highly paid FB. USE HIM!

4. for christ's sake...USE PLAY ACTION. jimmy is best in play action and i really saw none of it sunday (correct me if i'm wrong). get some misdirection to get the passing game going and get him some confidence back.

5. take a shot. it doesn't have to be a completion everytime. it didn't look like arizona even anticipated any deep balls. they were playing in the box a great majority of the game and weren't respecting the pass and definitely not the deep balls. let jimmy air it out and make the defense respect our deep passing game and passing game in general.

Tough to run the spread when you only have 3 healthy wrs.
