Jimmy's arm isn't gonna magically get stronger by next game. He just can't throw a deep ball, he has no zip / accuracy on anything over 20-25 yards. And same with his mobility, he's not gonna turn into Jackson over night, or even develop great pocket presence.

Unless Jimmy has a catastrophic season where he clearly is THE reason we arent winning, then Jimmy will be our QB next season. I still expect him to have a great season, in spite of what he showed us yesterday.

One thing to take into perspective....it's been nearly 20 years since this team has had an actual competent passer at QB. Jimmy did have a bad game but he still managed 2 TD's 0 Turnovers and a 100 QB Rating. He's also not the sole reason we lost. Using Mostert on 4th and goal and the D giving up 14 points in the 4th Q are just as guilty.

I didnt say he was the sole reason we lost. I am saying that until he regularly BECOMES that, there is absolutely no chance he gets replaced. I think he is going to have a good season, yesterday notwithstanding.
