I think Mullens is a better game manager than darn old but doesn't have the same physical tools. I think in shanahans system he does better than Jimmy g or darnold.

Mullens is fearless and gets rid of the ball quickly even if he is physically limited. I honestly think Jimmy has lost ball speed and mobility and Mullens is probably both a quicker decision maker now and more mobile.

Starting a thread like this after week one?? No preseason, thin at WR, and limited Kittle Lmao

Jimmy had a bad game not awful. He looked out of sorts but he'll turn it around next week. Probably just needed his usual early INT to wake him up

Now that defenses know how to play Jimmy, he's going to have to make some accurate long throws. Otherwise, this will be the most popular thread on this board.

Dak would be interesting, Cowboys don't want to sign him long term but with the cap getting smaller next year they probably can't franchise him again. I don't see any other realistic alternatives

He's the one interesting case. Sick of the Cowboys,...would be great to finally nab one of theirs with the # of players that have left here and performed well for them.

Jimmy's not going anywhere. Didn't play well yesterday and the loss to a young Cardinal team made it look worse. But I think he'll rebound and be solid.

I would definitely take Darnold over Jitterin' Jimmy.. he has serious arm talent and a lot of courage. If he had our talent and coaching we would be defending super bowl champs right now.
