1. He's a proven veteran, where as White isn't, and 2. He can mentor the younger WRs like Sanders did in 2019, even Aiyuk has said he's been helpful.

White has shown zero in his career, and isn't even a veteran really, he's only been in the league 4 years, and has only played in 14 career games, has 25 catches for 285 yards, and 11 TDs, where Sanu has played in 119 career games, has 403 catches, for 4507 yards, and 26 TDs, so yeah, besides White having 11 TDs, 8 in his rookie year, Sanu is a proven vet, and can help mentor the young guys, where White is still a young player, and couldn't mentor anyone., as he came into the league 1 year before Taylor and Bourne, 2 years before Pettis and James, 3 years before Deebo, and 4 years before Aiyuk, where Sanu has been in the league since 2012.

I mean you think we lose the SB if the defenses doesn't blow that 3rd and 15? Kittle OPI? Bourne running wrong route? Deebo dropping a 3rd down completion?

All kinda of what ifs..including Jimmy playing better.

It's a QB Driven league. The rules are in favour of the offense with today's rules.

Proof that KS doesn't lobby the refs because he's too busy calling the game. He MUST get someone assigned to lobby the REFS.

Seriously.

This reminds me so much of the Harbaugh Superbowl loss. Everyone and their mother knew the Superbowl was being deemed Ray's Last Ride. Obviously the officials were not going to detract from that marketing/league goal. Everyone knew the Ravens defense was going to be allowed to sprear players in the face/head, hold them, jump off sides, etc. You almost need to tell your players to be ready for this.

The Chiefs hadn't had a holding call called one time in the playoffs. Not one. Obviously their goal was to hold our biggest strength. You've got to be prepared for that and act it up...make it so obvious on TV, the officials have to call a couple.

Like jumping back towards a ball to ensure you get the P.I. call.

Kyle was probably so into his own legit X's and O's he probably oversighted how these games really go.

Actually he does:

Could he do it in the Super Bowl, not a chance in hell!!!
Was Sanu out there on the last throw of the game? Feel like his height might have helped maybe.....God losing sucks

Vertical and length are way more important in those scenarios than pure height because the other team is going to have their tall hands guys on the field. Aiyuk is the guy with the best chance with his combo of length+vert.

Say Who? Lol.
Yea this guy has no upside...at this point they might as well call up White

White is better than Sanu if for nothing else he has speed. Shanahan is to married to system and until White learns the playbook good enough he won't play.
Let's not kid ourselves: Kevin White wouldn't last very long if he had to play in a regular season game.
Wasn't Sanders an impact his first game? I still see nothing from Sanu

Why would we need Sanu to mentor the WRs?? don't we already have Welker and that should be part of his job... NO??

Also, White is younger and it means that he could be very well on his way to being prime, so why not let that happen here.

Bourne is at his max, no need to expect him to becoming more than what he is... he's going to have some big games, but he'll always just be an average w/no fear striking towards the opponents DB..

we signed White, why not give him Pettis and Taylor's time??
Well that was fast
Weird must some gtd cash tied into his contract and they let him go before they had to pay it
