Sanu was helping Aiyuk as a role model WR in the NFL. I understand his reaction to Sanu release.

Time to be your own role model Brandon

exactly. The homerrism on the zone has gone to unprecedented levels This year. Must be the covid season. It was a clear cut sign he was not going to be any sort of an impact.
Don't need Sanu. One catch in 3 games. Deebo and Richie back will be more production. We needed bodies when he was hired. Good Luck Mo, thanks for your time.
There's also the possibility that he just isn't that good anymore. Hes been cut twice in 3 weeks now. He barely played while he was here, so maybe he looked bad in practice and didn't earn the snaps.

Just said WTF and why? Not really a big deal IMO.
This was an easy cut. Not sure what some people were expecting.

-Can only play in the slot.
-Doesn't contribute on special teams.
-Old and slow.

Wait people were homers before he was signed or after he was signed? Are they Sanu homers or team homers lol? I don't think anyone truly thought he was gonna be some gamechanger. Last I checked he had more catches/yards/1st downs than Pettis He did his part, now he can chill on the PS or wait for a phone call.

saved a little under a million by cutting him...no GTD cash. Pettis costs SF $1.3M to cut, any other yr not a big deal this yr money is tight lol.

Sanu did his part, ran some routes, became part of the WR room, got a couple first downs etc (more than we can say about Pettis). Now he can either go to the PS or sit at home and wait for a call (if someone else gets hurt).

Really not a big deal either way.
This organization wastes more cap space then I can count. We could've signed Everson Griffin on what we've wasted on Compton,Austin,Sanu and ten other scrubs we've paid and cut. Should've won it all last season because we're not getting back anytime soon.
