Was Sanu's salary guaranteed as a vet? You complaining about spending Jed's money because once they are cut there is no cap hit except a bonus, and the people you listed don't have big cap hits anyway.

Sanu did his part, ran some routes, became part of the WR room, got a couple first downs etc (more than we can say about Pettis). Now he can either go to the PS or sit at home and wait for a call (if someone else gets hurt).

Really not a big deal either way.

Hmm, I wonder if they bring him back to the PS. I didn't even consider that.

He played more than one snap lol. Saying he can only play the slot is silly it's not even his position. I will agree he's old and slower but good enough to catch a 70+ yard td. IF Jimmy looked to his right...

Except that's precisely where he played the majority of his snaps when he was with Kyle in Atlanta and even after Kyle left.

Umm, Griffen got a 1yr $6M deal before we even redid Dee's deal. We only are paying Compton $1.375M, Austin was just the minimum of $750K, and Sanu was $843,382, that wouldn't have been enough to sign Griffen.

I was hoping we would release Pettis and keep Samu. Pettis is last of depth chart and Sanu plays more already.

I'm surprised it was sanu and disappointing it wasn't pettis

Griffen has also been a horrible pass rusher this yr. His PRWR is one of the worst in the league.
