Not sure how adding Sanu is suddenly going to make Jimmy play better. Guys were open on Sunday and Jimmy just didn't throw them a catchable pass. If we had traded for Hopkins in the offseason we wouldn't have played any better on offense on Sunday (though we probably would have won since he wouldn't have been torching our defense).

There's probably some intangibles of having a veteran wr in the room that's hard to account for. All the receivers got noticeably better after sanders showed up last year 🤷🏻‍♂️

still have to have a QB that can throw routes on time and not behind recievers, when are we getting that?
Good signing knows the system worth a try

Aiyuk is playing relax

yeah, people were saying that for a year about Hurd too

Bruh how you gonna compare a fractured back and torn acl to a damn hamstring? Get real

Why not, it's not like that was 10 yrs ago lol. Dude wasn't a fit for NE and was thrown into a completely different offense mid season.

Should at least provide someone with great hands and adds some nuts to this WR group

Proven vet. Can't hurt. Trent Taylor just lost playing time.

That's my guess as well with Taylor.

Repeating the same s**t over & over on every thread doesn't make it true. Your constant whining drivel is getting old.
You got here two weeks ago, pretty sure no one will miss you if you go away.

I'll happily eat crow if I'm wrong because I want him to do well since he's a 9er now but I'm not holding my breath.
Hmm...the problem i saw Sunday was nobody was getting open. I mean nobody, except Mostert on that TD and Au jus on that long one. #85 had 4 catches by half time ....other than that, i just didn't see any of our WRs getting open.

Now, either AZ is the best Pass D in the NFL, or our WRs just were not getting it done, when it comes to getting open. They made jimmy look bad but all Kyle's scheming to get guys open flat out didn't happen...and if it did, not much.

So now we got Sanu and he has had mobility problems, ankle i think . How is HE going to get open? Cripes i never saw TT open, Pettis...forget it, and bourne...just never really saw him open either.

I don't think this is the answer but , hey, why not try it? I still don't know if kyle Called a poor game or his WRs just didn't get open. On the D side, saleh just showed a milk toast D, rush four guys, move some DBs around and that's it. He had no idea how to corral Kyler, but then again who does. I wonder if we are missing pass D coach Woods? Oden did not have a very auspicious start.

I would have bet the farm we didn't need Deebo or Aiyuk to win. WRONG!!! I hope Sanu is the answer...but I think we gotta lot more problems than adding SAnu.

Dumb comment. Aiyuk practiced the past two days. Deebo isn't play for at least 2 more weeks.

If anything this means Pettis goes to the butt bench

At least he's a better run blocker from the slot than Taylor/Pettis.
meh

I mean what's considered good? He's not a WR1 or anything...great contested catcher who's proven he can play in the slot well. Good RZ target as well.

I'm not expecting a pro-bowler or anything. NE was off their rocker giving up a 2nd rd pick for him. Dummies
