I can tell people in here havent watched Mohamed Sanu play. He is the best receiver they have on the field right now

Did YOU watch him play last year?
The only question is anything in the tank. The Pats dropped him and they are thinner at the position than the Niners.

Is he on the field right now though? Last news on him before today was that he was cut from a team also desperate for receivers due to not getting over the ankle surgery

He really didnt fit that NE offense, no creativeness or nothing. He was the only receiver that could make a play. Go back and look at him with the falcons. He was better than Julio some days
For the people that are still skeptical watch these videos. He was an instant playmaker every time. Best reciever out of the current group on the field and its not even close.

If someone told me that in 2020 the 49ers are gonna add Trent Williams, Jordan Reed and Mohamed Sanu I would've spit my drink in their face from laughter.

Now I wonder if he'll even see the field Sunday??

I'm pretty sure Shanny knows the type of player Sanu is he will get him the ball. As of right now anyone is an upgrade on Pettis.

Kyle had the perfect WR group in Altanta. Julio Jones, who is an all-world WR that can literally do everything, a 4.27-burner in Taylor Gabriel to stretch the field and make defenses respect all the jet and orbit motions, and a tough, physical and big-bodied possession WR in Sanu that fearlessly works underneath and over the middle to perfectly balance the other 2 WRs.

I'm not interested in what he did as a Falcon years ago on a loaded offense. I am interested in what he could provide to OUR team. He was just cut from a team that desperately needs WRs, and the team said they did that because he never healed from his injury.

Maybe it was actually a cap space thing more than his injury?? After all there's videos of Sanu working out and running catching passes. New England saved $6.5 mil by releasing him??

I'm sure the front office wouldn't sign Sanu if he wasn't healthy, because he of course he has to pass a physical first.

Who's better him or Emmanuel Sanders?

Sanders is a better player and plays all the receiver positions.

Pre-ankle injury I'd say Sanu, but as of right now Sanders.
Washed up. But JG won't get him the ball anyways
