Mirrored Two man Stick. Stick concepts attack the curl/flat defender.
SEA will come with a traditional Fire Zone blitz (3 deep, 3 under)

Jimmy takes the snap and keys the red MIKE. Whichever way red shades towards, read the opposite direction. Red shading towards the strongside.

That means the weakside orange curl/flat defender cannot cover both routes. Jimmy targets Bourne. Pressure in his face doesn't allow him to follow through on the throw.

+3. Good read, bad throw. Bad blitz pickup.

It was pretty decisive to pivot left in the face of that defender and get the ball away. He copped a big hit for his efforts.
a jet sweep option would have been great there and on other plays

This was the play where a ton of people were insisting that Bourne was open on that one freeze frame, except that there were only 9 defenders in the frame and you couldn't see if it was MOFC or MOFO

to be fair with a bullet throw and good angle Jimmy G could probably hit him in the corner of the endzone since the db was covering aiyuk on that sideline route., but could be wrong.

JimmyG and "bullet throw"

There were actually 4-5 more dropbacks that I didn't get to but then national news stuff caught my attention so I got lazy.

His leg/ankle was fine until the play that proceeded him limping off the field. The injury didn't affect his play.

i wouldnt even trust what Jimmy would've said. he's not going to make excuses. so we shouldnt either.

his ankle could've started flaring up again in warm-ups for all we know. all NFL players play through something. it's just such a suspect situation in the handling of him IMO.

becoming a pattern, honestly. I know the other week he had real life stuff, but it's hard not to notice every time we lose and/or Jimmy doesn't play well.
