Yeah, and Kittle, too - it's a recipe for disaster.

Worse if they loose more player's from injuries
Forfeit the god damn game. Insame that the NFL is making these guys play on that field again. How many more are going to tear their ACLs??

The NFL ruined our f**king season making us play twice on that field.
Look, our DL was the strength of our team last year, and that DL is now totally gone, except for Armstead, who is not exactly a pass rushing beast.

We're basically the 2018 49ers again.
I would seriously sit Kittle. Something tells me he isn't healthy. I love our depth at tight end and I don't think we need Kittle for this game. I have a bad feeling.
i think the juice is the xfactor this game on offense. KB will eat. Defensively we have to stop short passes to RB and TE.

You don't know ANYTHING about how the current line will perform yet.

Zero chance Kittle plays.

No one complained about that field after week 1. Injuries happen, it's not the fields fault. People use to complain about our field at home.

Lots of people acting brand new about this. Not sure why?

Synthetic turf can get on avg 30-50 degrees F hotter than air temps. It's the reason for the "sticky" feel on warm sunny days.

The first game was a Monday night and wasn't an issue. 9ers Jets game was a day game with the turf baking in the sun all day and was well over 100 degrees.

Current weather for this Sunday is 75 and partly cloudy.

Longer cleats some players like to wear for better traction stick right to that boiling hot turf. Better to slip than pop an acl, imo.

The condition of the field has no accountability concerns, from the owners to the commissioner. Who will take blame for substandard field conditions?

The Giants OL is not very good and Daniel Jones is turnover prone.

Can SF take advantage? Their D has been a surprise albeit against a 38 yr old Roethlisberger and Mitchell Trubisky, so that's probably a wash against the 49ers injured offense. Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, and BJ Hill will cause problems for the 49ers interior. Teams don't respect our ability to pass outside the numbers, so they will continue to choke everything underneath and the running game will have to rely on "chunk" plays unless we can pass better (and that includes pass protection).

To me this game seems like a pick'em, although the betting public sides with us.
so this game should be a cakewalk, right?
